Split Rock Lighthouse celebrates 100 years
2010 is the 100th Anniversary of Split Rock Lighthouse, and events are being held the first Friday of every month to celebrate. Split Rock Lighthouse State Park is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Special programs are offered in the theatre via website pre-ticketing only with seatings at 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. Visit www.mnhs.org/splitrock for tickets at $6 or $10 pricing tiers. The lighthouse beacon will be lit at dusk, and the Visitor Center featuring an historic photo display and Museum Store with special centennial souvenirs will stay open until 9 p.m. for everyone’s enjoyment.
